Not much to talk about today. I had a great time at Nerd Con. And at The Ball.
The Ball was worth every penny put into it. Jameson was so incredibly happy that I was there with him. I wore my Ren Faire costume at his request. He was a little pirate. Such a good night. I let him run around and be a little boy. He never gets to do that. And what a joy it was to watch.
Nerd Con was also fantastic. R and I bought steampunk hats. OMG he looks so fucking hot. SOOOO HOT!!! He has this whole "dapper" look to him. Kinda like how Courtney B Vance looks in his top hat in that one part of "Huck Finn". Mmmmmmm....
Anyways... So now we are home from all that for a few days. It's nice to have a little break. We leave on Friday for some Software Con thing. I am just hanging out. R is actually going to the Con. It's a work thing for him.
Since I travel so damn much, he wanted Elizabeth and I to be there with him. So we are!
Like I said, not much to say.
Oh yeah... Court is September 27!

What A Day
It started unbearingly early. Elizabeth woke up right after R. He brought her to me, which was sweet, but I would have left her in her bed to see if she might fall back asleep. No dice.
She took a nap at 8. For 30 mins.
We left at 1040 to go to Adventure so R and I could go to the German Pub.
OMG the food was AH MAZE ING
Afterwards, that's when the shit really hit the fan. I went to Target to get a backpack for Nerd Con. We don't want to have to carry the diaper bag all over.
I found one. It was a little more money than I wanted to pay...
So while I was looking for some cards for R, my shirt suddenly felt cold. Yep. My boobs leaked all over it. Damn it.
I found a new shirt - 3 for $24. So I did that. I didn't want to walk all over with a wet shirt.
Paid for our stuff, and left.
While driving home, Elizabeth had her 4th blowout in 2 days ALL OVER HER CAR SEAT. Guess who got to clean that up?
So the laundry I needed to do has been bumped out by washing the gross mustard poop off of her car seat. It's on it's second run through right now because the shit didn't come off the first time. I tried "bulky items". This time it's "deep water wash".
I still have to wash clothes and pack for The Ball Trip tomorrow and Nerd Con on Friday. I also pick R up in a little less than two hours.
Oh, and Elizabeth didn't want to nap. She finally fell asleep.
So now I am sitting here, drinking Kombucha (it's my new addiction) and waiting for the laundry to get done.
I sure hope the rest of my day isn't shit like my afternoon was. Pun completely intended.

This Is Me
So I was sitting here, reading about stuff, thinking about all the millions of other things I need to be doing... And I thought... Why not start another blog? And here we are.
So, I will give you a brief description of me. I won't use my real name, because who needs a stalker?
I'm K. Just K. I'm somewhere over 25, but will only ever claim I am 25. I have 3 wonderful kids, and one awesome step-son. My kids are Ariel (she's 10!), Jameson (he's 6!), step-son Alex (he's 8!), and baby Elizabeth (almost 1!). I live in the Pacific Northwest, with my partner, R.
I want to say he's my boyfriend, but he's so much more than that. My ring finger, however is still naked, so I can't say more than "boyfriend" or "partner". He is my everything. He's my best friend, my soul support, and my backbone when the one I have won't work.
We have almost been together for 2 years. Elizabeth is our daughter.
Ariel and Jameson are my kids from when I was married. I won't get into their father right now.... I'm just not in the mood to talk about that branch of psycho. Ok, well, I could talk about it, but let's just say that I don't have the energy. I don't want to. It's been a good day, and I don't want to ruin it. Ok?
I moved up here in July 2015. Elizabeth was 17 days old, and I put her and the other two kids in my Prius and drove up here. My parents and sister came too. It was a really strange 3 days. I think I enjoyed it, but I'm honestly not sure. Looking back now, it doesn't seem like it ever actually happened. Yet somehow I got here. We got here.
We live in this really awesome house. I actually love it quite a lot. It's near some water. We have a private beach. It's great.
I moved here from So Cal. I'll admit it, I am a born and bred California girl. But I absolutely LOVE the PNW.
I lived in Fayetteville, NC for a while. I hated it there. It was hot and lonely. Maybe part of the lonely bit was the way my ex treated me? Anyway, I am much happier here.
I like things. I am a "Whovian". I like Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Orange is the New Black. I love medical dramas - though I never got into Grey's Anatomy. I like cooking, and I hate cleaning. I love my kids. I wish we had a cat. I don't like dogs, but I guess I would allow a small one. I love chocolate. And coffee. Coffee should be a food group. I am a punk rock princess. I don't do that "girly" thing. You're far more likely to see me in sweats and a tshirt than a dress. I am just not into dresses. I'll wear them, if I have to. I own a corset. I have 6 tattoos.
I am running out of things to say about myself. I think that means that it's time to end this post. I will put another up soon.
